France Yacht Charters
delight yachters by offering a variety in European coast yachting in both the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. In the Atlantic region, one finds Bordeaux yachts mooring in the middle of the city. La Rochelle is known for being an excellent port for fishing fresh fish. One of the first established yachting ports of France, it is known for international competitive racing around the world. Bayonne leads the Basque Coast as a premier port and yachting location. Up to the English Channel/North Sea region, Le Havre is a means to travel to Paris and explore the Normandy region. Le Havre has a combined sand and pebble beach stretching for 1.2 miles, a marina, and a large number of clubs and associations for watersports. On the southern border of France, the Mediterranean area is littered with marinas throughout the coastline. The French Riviera is home to elegant chartering, with short distances between 30 harbors, 25 miles of beach, classy resorts, and 3,000 restaurants to sample the cuisine. World-famous Monte Carlo, in the tiny region of Monaco, provides luxury yacht charters. The island of Corsica contains many fishing villages and places for yachts to anchor, which are inaccessible by land and watersport-ready. Corsica contains a variety of ports, such as the towering cliffs at safe harbor Bonifacio. The yacht season varies between the coasts of France; the Atlantic sailing season lasts from late spring to fall, while the Mediterranean’s season is year-round.
